Vaccinations
All cats must be up to date with vaccinations before they board with us.
Although some vaccines recommend every 1-3 years for low risk cats (indoor cats), catteries are a higher risk area. So for this reason, they require to have yearly vaccinations to keep them protected.
- Cats will receive initial vaccination
- 3-4 weeks later they will receive a booster
- It is a further 4 weeks until cats have built up the immunity to be able to stay at the cattery.
So, if your cat has to start a new course of vaccinations, please allow 8 weeks between the first injection and coming to stay.
After the initial course, cats must receive a booster annually. If they don't, they will need to start a new course as detailed above.
CATS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT AN UP TO DATE ANNUAL VACCINATION RECORD
This must show their full vaccination history.
If you have a query regarding vaccinations, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
